Insane Tracks
Where the hell am I on this knot? Now you know by the color of the track.
Critical Gravity's hard mode is based on completing the track without falling off but this can be very difficult if you have lost sense of up and down. To address this issue the track has been broken up into sections, top, bottom, up, down, left and right. These sections will always stay true to a particular direction of the track and will have its own texture color: for example, the light blue section of track in the image will always represent the 'TOP' of the track, whereas 'RIGHT' and 'LEFT' are both purple. Now, at any given moment on the track you will know whether you are on the top, bottom, side or transitioning. This is not important in Easy mode but it is a valuable aid in Hard mode.
Texture and materials will change from the example but I thought I'd post a little update to explain to the change.
Also, as these track are beingremade they are also being constructed as LOD assets that will improve performance and driving feel.
